After a week with many forest fires, the weather change in the county is probably welcomed by the rescue service.

And it will be a cover with a message.

On its website, SMHI has now posted a weather warning for Västerbotten regarding Friday where it says:

 ”...

further during the evening and night until Friday, rain is expected over northern Dalarna and southern Norrland, which can be persistent and heavy with elements of very heavy showers.

The rain shifts slowly north during the night, but it is uncertain how fast.

Ahead of Friday, the rain mainly seems to affect Ångermanland and Västerbotten's coastal land, but the location of the rain is difficult to assess

”.

SVT's meteorologists state that it will now also be cooler in the north, the temperature is expected to fall to around 16-17 degrees and we are thus leaving the high summer heat behind us for a while.

In the northern parts of the mountain range, even the temperature is expected to fall to zero degrees during the weekend.
