There are a record number of people who want to visit the Swedish mountains this summer.
On average, more than 30 percent more are booked this year than last year.
In addition to Kebnekaise, the Jämtland Triangle hiking trail is the most popular:
- It's great fun that so many want to go hiking, says Carl Johan Ingström at STF Storulvån.
Many seek tranquility in the open expanses
Jonathan Lindén Eriksson from Borlänge went to the Jämtland Triangle for the first time this week:
- It was empty and I only met two companies, says Jonathan.
