  The news quoted Moscow’s Deputy Mayor Yefimov, who is in charge of economic policy and property-land relations, as saying: “The QS ranking of the best cities to study can give people a clear understanding of the plans and preferences of colleges and universities for students and graduates. The ranking is in the development process. It takes into account the responses of more than 95,000 students from around the world. Moscow has risen 18 places in the rankings in the past five years."

  The Moscow Analysis Center pointed out that the QS Best Cities for International Students published in 2014 included 115 popular cities for studying in the world.

According to the information on the official QS website, the ranking indicators are based on the categories of university rankings, student portfolio, desirability, employer activities, affordability, and student opinions.
