Kuwait..No entry for residents exempted from vaccination

The State of Kuwait has issued a series of new procedures related to the entry of arrivals to the country that will be implemented starting from August 1, and which fall under the framework of combating the Covid-19 virus.

According to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas, those exempted from taking the vaccine for health reasons will not be excluded from entering Kuwait, and children who are residents under the age of 16 will not be prevented if they are accompanied by their parents who have been vaccinated with approved vaccines in Kuwait.

On the increase in capacity, with the start of new travel procedures to prevent a rise in ticket prices, the newspaper said that a letter was submitted to the Council of Ministers to increase the capacity of arrivals to the country to more than 5,000 passengers per day, without specifying a ceiling for the numbers, noting that the airport is awaiting approvals to increase The capacity of arrivals is initially to be at least 10,000 passengers per day, so that it will be gradually increased in preparation for its return to its normal state as it was in the past.

She stressed that high-risk countries will not open direct flights with them, in order to preserve the health system in the country.
