In Russia, three times a month recorded 799 deaths from COVID-19 per day

This is evidenced by the data of the headquarters for the fight against COVID-19.

The total number of deaths among patients with confirmed coronavirus in Russia was 156,977.

As URA.RU clarifies, the country has repeated the anti-record for daily mortality for the third time in a month.

At the same time, 798 deaths of patients with coronavirus were registered the day before.

Earlier, the deputy director for scientific work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Alexander Gorelov, said that the delta coronavirus strain is capable of infecting three times more people than the usual version of the infection.
