In the branch of the Higher Regional Court (OLG) Düsseldorf on the outskirts of the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital, there are predominantly trials against terror suspects of all origins.

Terrorists are the 60-year-old Marcus B. from Berlin, Fadi J. - a 37-year-old German with Iraqi roots who last lived in Heerlen, near Aachen, in the Netherlands - and the 38-year-old Christian B. from Duisburg are not.

Nevertheless, the Federal Prosecutor's Office considers the trio to be extremely dangerous.

The three alleged members of the extremely aggressive anti-Semitic “Goyim Party” have had to answer to the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court since Thursday for membership in a right-wing extremist criminal organization and for sedition.

Fadi J. and Marcus B. are said to have steered the "International Goyim Party", which mainly operates online, as ringleaders.

In addition to J. and B., according to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, Christian B. also played a major role in disseminating the most horrific seditious slogans and "extreme violent fantasies against Jews" through various Internet platforms by 2020.

Infinite flood of hatred

At the start of the trial, the three federal prosecutors give an impression of the sheer endless flood of hatred. It took them more than an hour to read a selection of the slogans. Marcus B., a man with neck-length hair and a full beard, who reveals himself to be a citizen of the Reich when identifying his or her personal details, follows the lecture attentively from the dock, nods his head every now and then and smiles.

The term “Goyim” is derived from “Goi”, a Yiddish word that denotes non-Jews. The “Goyim Party” was not a party in the traditional sense. According to the investigators' findings, the association rather served right-wing extremists, Reich citizens and Jew haters in order to network, exchange ideas and incite one another in the virtual world. Anti-Semitism is an essential element of right-wing extremism, as the attack on the synagogue in Halle at the beginning of October 2019 showed. When it was presented in June, the President of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Thomas Haldenwang, also mentioned the investigation into the members of the “Goyim Party”.

According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, the digital infrastructure of the Echo Chamber “Goyim Party” consisted of the Internet site “International Goyim Party” and several “Goyim country groups” for Sweden, Bulgaria, France, Russia, India, Great Britain, Austria and others Switzerland as well as from several forums. The German group of countries appeared as the "Goyim Party Germany" (GPD) and used a logo that was reminiscent of a swastika. The central figure of the “Goyim Party” was, according to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, Fadi J. He is said to have been intensively involved in building an international, digital, cross-platform hate network since 2014. According to the indictment, his goal was a “Jew-free world order”.

First, J. published posts on Facebook and used Youtube and Twitter.

When the platform operator blocked Fadi J.'s channels because of the widespread hatred there, he switched to the Russian provider VKontakte (VK) in order to be able to continue to publish Nazi and anti-Jewish propaganda.

The pronounced hatred of Jews was apparently also the foundation of the partnership between the man with Iraqi roots and Marcus B., who had been active in the Berlin neo-Nazi scene for years, and Christian B. from Duisburg, who was not related to the latter.

Open calls to burn down synagogues

Together with Marcus B. Fadi J. is said to have determined the content of the right-wing extremist criminal organization.

According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, Christian B., like the other two men, published a considerable amount of "extremely anti-Semitic, xenophobic and national socialism-glorifying contributions" on the Internet.

According to the indictment, his contributions were particularly drastic and inhumane.

Like Marcus B., according to the investigators' findings, Christian B. was also granted administrator rights by Fadi J. for the channels of the “Goyim Party”.

On their pages there were also open calls to burn down synagogues and kill Jewish citizens.

Investigations against eight people

For example, the association's account posted the following slogans: “Whoever wants world peace must exterminate the Jews!”, “Final solution now!”, “Death of the Jewish republic - never again BRD!” And “The death of Jews solves world hardship”.

There were also quotes from Hitler's “Mein Kampf”, sometimes even entire writings by other leading National Socialists.

Fadi J. and Marcus B. were arrested a year ago as part of a large-scale raid against the association in Herleen and Berlin and have been in custody ever since.

Searches took place in mid-July 2020 in Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and North Rhine-Westphalia, among others.

Overall, the Federal Prosecutor's Office is investigating the “Goyim Party” against eight people.

So far, 30 days of negotiations have been scheduled for the process at the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court.
