"The accusations against our country of meddling in the US elections ... look like an attempt by Washington to disguise its own interference in the elections in Russia," Piskarev said.

He stressed that, unlike the United States administration, the Russian side "always provides concrete evidence of interference in our elections."

According to him, the commission records such attempts on a daily basis and sends relevant materials to the CEC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia, as well as the country's partners in the CSTO.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden announced Russia's "interference" in the upcoming US elections.

In early July, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that before the September elections to the State Duma, Western countries may try to destabilize the situation in Russia.

According to him, this may look like provoking protests.

The minister also noted that Russia almost every day sees attempts to influence its domestic policy using a wide “set of tools”.
