Nasrullah and his wife survived - their friends did not

The couple survived that summer, when thousands of prisoners in Iranian prisons were executed.

Not many of their friends did.

- At the end of the night, they were taken out on stretchers to be executed, Nasrullah Marandi tells SVT Nyheter, and fights to hold back the tears.

Now one of those who has been pointed out as responsible for the mass executions will be brought to justice, here in Sweden.
