People's Power Representative Lee Jun-seok criticized the Democratic Party's enforcement of the media arbitration law, saying, "Are those who claim to be the successors of the Roh Moo-hyun administration trying to build a rigid media environment?"

Regarding the media arbitration law, which forced the Democratic Party to impose punitive damages up to 5 times for media reports on the previous day, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee Bill Subcommittee enforced, "President Roh Moo-hyun said in the past, many Internet media outlets and new media outlets We established a policy to pursue media diversity with the intention that the people make the choice.”

He also pointed out that the Media Arbitration Act, targeting the Democratic Party, "is against the spirit of Roh Moo-hyun."

Regarding the question of joining the People's Party, Chairman Lee said, "The will of the people to unify the opposition for victory in the presidential election is firm."

He also mentioned that about 20 people from the People's Party, including the chairman of the Gyeonggi Party and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, called for the 'unconditional unification' of the two parties in a statement on the same day and said, "I deeply sympathize with them. It's a good opportunity to meet Representative Ahn. I hope we can negotiate," he said.

Regarding the public proposal for a meeting with former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who is outside the party, former Auditor General Choi Jae-hyung, who is the leader of the People's Power, said, "It is desirable to promote mutual exchanges as a pan-opposition player." Just as I brought up the word 'Daedongsoi' when I met with former President Yoon, 95% of what we share and 5% of what we have a little bit of disagreement with is about 5%. We do not want the situation to continue,” he added.
