Level of evaluation criteria.
Through policy guidance, promote the equivalent use of high-quality Chinese sci-tech journals and foreign high-level journals in scientific and technological evaluation, and attract high-level papers to be published in Chinese sci-tech journals.
The Chinese Society of Aeronautics, where Hu Haiyan works, has made active explorations within this framework.
"We have tried to form an evaluation system for scientific and technological journals with scientific standards, reasonable classification, fair rules, and a wide range of consensus through such efforts, and promote excellent foreign and domestic journals to have an equivalent role in academic evaluation." Hu Haiyan said that he hopes to influence the Chinese academia through the release of new evaluation results, especially to guide young scholars to pay attention to what is an excellent journal. For this purpose, the evaluation plan must be sufficiently authoritative and the selection process must be sufficiently fair and objective.
On the basis of the basic data provided by bibliometrics, it is necessary to comprehensively consider whether the journal reflects the development frontiers of related academic fields, whether most of the published papers have sufficient academic innovation and influence, and have problems or complete academic credibility. In order to pursue commercial interests, periodicals must be completely denied.
