Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Qin Gang arrives in the U.S. to assume his new post

　　China News Agency, Washington, July 28. The Chinese Embassy in the United States announced on the afternoon of the 28th Washington time that China’s new ambassador to the United States, Qin Gang, arrived in the United States on the same day.

　　According to sources, Qin Gang was welcomed by Chinese diplomats in the United States, including Li Kexin, Minister of the Embassy in the United States, Huang Ping, Consul General in New York, and other Chinese diplomats in the United States.

Qin Gang is the eleventh Chinese ambassador to the United States, and was formerly China's Deputy Foreign Minister in the United States.

Cui Tiankai, the former ambassador to the United States, left his post and returned to China on June 23.

He was stationed in the UK three times.
