A motorist fled the scene of the accident after colliding with a bicycle in Reinheim in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district.
On Tuesday evening, the cyclist came towards the car, the police said on Wednesday.
For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the two vehicles collided.
Accordingly, there was material damage to the bicycle, and the two-wheeler was slightly injured.
The driver then drove away without taking care of the injured cyclist.
The police are looking for witnesses and asking for clues.
Witzenhausen
In Witzenhausen, North Hesse, a workshop hall with vehicles caught fire on Tuesday.
The fire spread directly to an adjacent residential building and damaged the roof structure there, the police in Kassel said.
People were not injured.
The total damage is estimated at 150,000 euros.
Frankfurt
height rescuers from the Frankfurt fire brigade have freed two workers from a defective window cleaner gondola.
"Both people are rescued from the gondola and are doing well," said a spokesman.
The window cleaners were in trouble on Tuesday at the level of the tenth floor of a building at Frankfurt Airport after the technology on the gondola had failed.
