“At about 03:40 (02:40 Moscow time), units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces once again undertook a provocation and violated the truce on the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” RIA Novosti quoted a message from the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
As specified, there are local battles.
The Armenian defense department announced two wounded, information about five more servicemen is being specified.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, in turn, announced about shelling from the direction of Armenia.
“On July 28, starting at about 00:50, the units of the Armenian Armed Forces from combat positions ... subjected to intensive shelling of the positions of the Azerbaijani army on the territory of the Kelbajar region,” the ministry stressed.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated that two servicemen of the Azerbaijani army were injured as a result of the shelling of the Armenian Armed Forces.
