More than 200 completely valid documents would have been sold to non-vaccinated, specifies a police source.

The investigation, conducted by the territorial security of Seine-Saint-Denis, began at the end of last week after a report from the Health Insurance Fund: she suspected an employee of the Villepinte vaccination center of having issued two health passes to a couple who have never been to the center.

The young woman who worked in entering and editing these certificates had already aroused, a few days before, the attention of her colleagues who had surprised her consulting a list of Social Security numbers.

Two accomplices identified

Placed in police custody on July 23, she admitted to having issued the two fraudulent passes… as well as 200 others during the previous weeks. She specifies that if she issued the documents - soon necessary to go to restaurants, to the cinema or to exercise certain professions -, her sister and an accomplice, living in Spain, were responsible for playing the intermediary by recruiting refractory to vaccination on the networks. social. Also in custody, the couple who aroused the suspicions of the Health Insurance confirmed having seen an ad on Snapchat and bought their pass for 200 euros. During searches, investigators discovered 6,320 euros in cash at the center employee and 10,000 euros at her sister's. But according to a police source, the profits from the trafficking could amount to nearly 40.000 euros.

Judged in immediate appearance at the Bobigny Criminal Court, the employee was sentenced to 18 months in prison, twelve of which was closed, a sentence that could be adapted under an electronic bracelet.

She will also have to pay a fine of 10,000 euros.

Her sister was sentenced to one year suspended sentence and 3,000 euros.

As for the couple benefiting from the false certificate, the woman was sentenced to two months suspended and 1,500 euros, her husband to the same fine.

An arrest warrant was also issued for their accomplice in Spain.
