Tuesday, LR mayor of La Garenne-Colombes and hospital doctor, Philippe Juvin, announced his candidacy for the right-wing primary for the 2022 presidential election. On Europe 1 Wednesday, he estimated that being both professional and elected could be an advantage for carrying out reforms.

The hospital doctor and mayor of La Garenne-Colombes, Philippe Juvin was the guest of Europe Matin on Wednesday.

For the right-wing primary candidate for the 2022 presidential election, “being elected and professional is an advantage.” Philippe Juvin has indeed worked as a hospital doctor at the heart of the coronavirus health crisis.

He presented his plans to reform hospitals, in the midst of the coronavirus health crisis.

"We have a health system, we put a lot of money into it, but this money does not go to care, it goes in part to a huge bureaucracy", assures Philippe Juvin.

"In the hospital, there are almost as many administrative jobs as there are doctors. I think that one of the tracks is that health is entrusted to the regions", argues the candidate for the primary of the right.

Before adding: "experience shows that when you decentralize from the central state to the communities and municipalities, things are better done, better adapted to the field and finally the euros which are taken from the pocket of the French are better used ".
