“Wildberries do not expect any negative impact on the company.

Despite the rapid growth in the popularity of the company in Ukraine, the sales volume in this country is 0.01% of the current Wildberries turnover.

Thus, in the opinion of the company, the imposed sanctions can only harm Ukrainian entrepreneurs and buyers who will lose a wide range of goods at affordable prices, ”the company’s TASS message quoted.

It is also noted that "restrictions can have a negative impact on representatives of small businesses in Ukraine, for which Wildberries is one of the most popular trading platforms for selling goods in 14 foreign countries."

On July 23, it was reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against a number of individuals and legal entities, including the Russian company Wildberries and its CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk.
