"The meeting, which will be held on July 28, will be attended by military delegations from India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as Belarus as an observer country in the SCO," the press service of the Defense Ministry quoted TASS as saying.
The Defense Ministry noted that within the framework of the visit, a number of bilateral meetings between Shoigu and the heads of the military departments of the SCO countries are envisaged.
On July 24, Shoigu held telephone conversations with the Minister of Defense of Tajikistan Sherali Mirzo.
