In Gävleborg, a private health center allows patients to register with specific doctors based on their ethnicity.

Tina Mansson Söderlund, who is acting director of health and medical care in the Gävleborg Region, is not surprised by what has emerged and believes that there is a lot to work with to come to terms with.
- It is a crime to commit an act of discrimination. I think there is little here and there actually and we know we need to work on those issues.
