The French women's 3x3 basketball team ended its group stage with an easy fourth victory, at the expense of Romania (22-12), and will face Japan in the qualifying jump-off for the semi-finals on Tuesday at the Tokyo Games .
Les Bleues, who finished fifth, will play for a place in the last four at 9:50 p.m. (2:50 p.m. Paris time).
They will have to take their revenge on the Japanese (4th) who largely beat them (19-15) in the group stage on Sunday.
If they win, they will find the Americans in the semifinals, who also dominated them in the opening match on Saturday (17-10).
The other dam will oppose China (3rd) to Italy (6th).
The winning team will challenge Russia in the other half.
In the meantime, the French have recorded their third success in a row in the Olympic tournament, the fourth in seven matches, giving the impression of much better control of their basketball than at the start of the competition.
