The corresponding document was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

"The bill proposes to establish the types of activities in the tobacco market, the implementation of which is subject to licensing, as well as the procedure for obtaining (renewing) and canceling licenses," the explanatory note to the document says.

In addition, the bill provides for the licensing of the following activities: production, storage and supply of manufactured tobacco products and raw materials;

production, storage and delivery of manufactured tobacco products;

wholesale trade in tobacco products;

wholesale trade in raw materials.

In May, the State Duma assessed the possibility of a ban on the use of e-liquids.

It was also reported earlier that the government approved an action plan for the implementation of the anti-tobacco concept, according to which impersonal cigarette packages may appear in Russia, 75% of the surface of which will be occupied by images with information about the dangers of smoking.
