July 26, 2021: Russian communications agency Roskomnadzor blocked the website of jailed Russian opponent Alexei Navalny, Navalny.com, at the request of the Attorney General. This is what the Russian state press agency Ria Novosti reports, according to which "it is clear from the information coming from the service for verifying access to the sites".

According to the Telegram channel of Navalny's collaborator Leonid Volkov - recorded on Dozhde TV by the AFP agency - 49 sites are blocked by allies of the opponent and organizations linked to the dissident now in prison. "At the decision of the Attorney General's Office, 49 websites were blocked simultaneously," Volkov said on Telegram, according to AFP reports.

TV Dozhd writes on its website that "according to the register of prohibited sites drawn up by Roskomsvoboda, on June 15 the prosecutor general asked to block 48 sites linked to Navalny's team and also the site of the medical union Alleanza dei Medici".

According to the online media Meduza, some users from Russia continue to have access to the Navalny.com site and others do not. Also according to Meduza, "the Navalny Team" has published a screenshot where it says that the site has been blocked because "this resource contains information whose dissemination is prohibited in Russia".
