According to the ministry, 63 people with coronavirus have died in Turkey over the past 24 hours.
It is clarified that more than 5.5 thousand patients with COVID-19 have also been cured in the country per day.
Earlier, the head of the Union of Infectious Diseases of the Republic, Mehmet Ceyhan, called for tougher anti-coronavirus measures against Russian tourists.
Later, the Turkish authorities announced that they did not plan to introduce new restrictions or tighten sanitary and epidemiological measures for Russian tourists heading to the republic on vacation.
