July 26, 2021 At least 57 people died today in a shipwreck off the coast of Libya, near Khums, where a boat capsized.



This was reported on Twitter by Safa Msehli, spokesperson for the International Organization for Migration (IOM).



"According to the survivors brought ashore by the Coast Guard and fishermen - he added - at least 20 women and two children are among the drowned".
