Grymchak believes that the possibility of participation of residents of the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics in the elections to the State Duma "indicates a dangerous trend."

“In the near future, our country should prepare for the fact that we will have to liberate this territory in one way or another,” Grymchak said.

He also spoke in favor of resolving the issue through political and diplomatic means.

At the same time, Grymchak said that "the army must be prepared for the possible use of weapons."

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine protested against the decision of the CEC of Russia to allow the use of remote electronic voting to Russian citizens who do not have registration at the place of residence in Russia, who received citizenship in a simplified manner.

In April 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the simplified acquisition of citizenship by residents of the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
