“Al Solh Khair” recovers 302.4 million dirhams in Sharjah in the first half

The “Reconciliation is Good” initiative organized by the General Command of Sharjah Police in its tenth year in a row, through the Financial Reporting Unit in the Comprehensive Police Stations Department, achieved (7084) reconciliation cases related to financial issues during the first half of this year, and through it it succeeded in returning About 302 million, 412 thousand and 532 dirhams to their owners without referring them to the judiciary.

The "Solh is Good" initiative aims to protect the rights of individuals and institutions, and to recover their rights in an amicable manner that enhances social cohesion, by resolving financial issues amicably, far from the corridors of the courts.

Acting Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department, Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, affirmed the leadership’s keenness to preserve the stability of society through its various initiatives, which serve community members, in order to achieve its goals consistent with the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction with the services provided, noting that The “reconciliation is good” initiative culminated in tangible positive results through settling financial disputes, reconciling the conflicting parties in cases of checks without balance, and other financial issues, and finding peaceful solutions for them, which contributes to maintaining human or social relations between the conflicting parties.

A number of cases benefiting from the initiative expressed their thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Sharjah Police in recovering and preserving their rights, without resorting to judicial authorities, praising the great role that Sharjah Police seeks in maintaining the security and stability of society.
