It is through support from Region Värmland that the local association has been able to buy an electric bicycle with a front seat and join the project Cycling without age.
The idea itself originally comes from Copenhagen in Denmark but has now spread around the world.
The idea is to break the social isolation that affects many in the autumn of age.
- I think of everyone who has been inside during the pandemic.
It must have been boring, says Els den Teuling who is a volunteer leader and the one who pedals during the bike ride.
She hopes that more people will book a seat in the front seat.
