The main naval parade was dedicated to the 325th anniversary of the Russian fleet.

Ships of the Russian Navy marched in parade along the Neva.

The event was completed by the flight of naval aviation, which painted the sky over the Neva in the colors of the Russian flag, and the ceremonial passage of the Navy troops, which was opened by the cadets of the Nakhimov Naval School.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted a parade on the occasion of the 325th anniversary of the Russian regular fleet and congratulated the military on Navy Day.

Putin noted that Russia quickly took its place among the leading maritime powers.
