The railway company announced this in its Telegram.

“At 17:54 Moscow time, the first passenger train No. 11 Vladivostok - Samara crossed the Areda River along the first line of the restored bridge.

Passenger traffic on the Transsib is open, ”the message says.

As noted in the Russian Railways, the railway communication was restored in two days, but "work will continue until the opening of the second line of the bridge."

Earlier it was reported that the first freight trains in test mode crossed the restored bridge in Transbaikalia.
