A bizarre video clip showed a man dressed as "Spider Man" kicking and hitting a shop worker in the British capital, London.

According to the circulating video, "Spider-Man" as a raging bull stormed one of the store's doors before kicking an employee in the neck area and shouting at her before punching her hard and throwing her to the ground.

Then, the video clip showed a fight between a group of intruders, employees working in the store, and a number of customers, which prompted the police forces to intervene to resolve the conflict, according to local reports.

A shocked onlooker can be heard screaming towards the end of the clip, "Oh my God."

Security reports did not reveal the real reason behind the violent quarrel, while the media reported that two men, aged 35 and 37, and two women, aged 17 and 18, were arrested.

All five remain in custody, according to The Sun.

A woman in her 20s was taken to hospital with minor injuries, and according to ITV News, five others were treated at the scene.

A spokesperson for the Asda store said: "We are aware of an incident that occurred in our store late last night, and we do not tolerate any form of violence or abuse towards colleagues or customers and we are working closely with the police in their investigations."
