The Ministry of Internal Affairs told about the detention of a suspect in the murder of a policeman in Stavropol

“He was hiding in abandoned buildings,” RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier it became known that in Stavropol, late in the evening on July 23, an attempt was made on the life of Police Major, Deputy Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department Ruslan Abovyan.

A law enforcement officer died in intensive care.

Investigators opened a criminal case into the incident.

Later, the suspect was detained in the Andropovsky district of the Stavropol Territory.
