“As part of the MAKS air show, we signed an agreement with strict obligations to conclude a contract by September 15 with a company from the UAE.
So far, we are talking about one Mi-171A2 helicopter, but we have a program with them for five years for the supply of five helicopters per year, that is, in the future, for 25 aircraft, "RIA Novosti quoted Boginsky as saying.
He noted that the contract will be concluded only in the fall, since now there is no agreement between Russia and the UAE on the mutual recognition of airworthiness certificates.
Earlier it was reported that Rostec signed contracts for the MAKS-2021 amounting to more than 230 billion rubles.
