The Military Manpower Administration announced today (24th) that it will not conduct military service judgment tests nationwide from the day after tomorrow (26th) to the 3rd of next month.
As a measure in accordance with the replacement of physical examination equipment and regular inspection, special quarantine activities such as disinfection of the inspection site and provision of quarantine products will also be carried out during the period.
In addition, the guidelines for reducing military service screening tests in the metropolitan area will also be extended until the 6th of next month in accordance with the 4th stage of social distancing in the metropolitan area extended by two weeks.
Therefore, from the 4th to the 6th of next month, the inspections at the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration, Gyeongin Regional Military Manpower Administration, Incheon Military Manpower Office, and Gyeonggi Northern Military Manpower Administration Office will focus on those who are in urgent need of inspection, such as those waiting for departure from abroad, those returning home, and recruits.
Meanwhile, the enlistment screening test, introduced this year, will start as scheduled from the 4th of next month considering the enlistment date of active duty soldiers.
In order to solve the inconvenience of re-enlisting after returning home, the enlistment screening test is a system in which military personnel undergo a physical and psychological test before enlistment before enlisting, replacing the enlistment physical test performed by military units.
