The French volleyball players, overtaken by the United States, lost three sets to zero (25-18, 25-18, 25-22), missing their debut at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday at Ariake Arena.
Nothing is lost yet for the most talented generation of French volleyball, in search of a first Olympic medal in Japan: to see the quarter-finals, it must place in the top four of its group of six with also the Russia (under neutral flag), Brazil, Argentina and Tunisia.
