July 24, 2021 Multiple injuries to the chest and abdominal organs.

These would be the causes of the death of Emanuele Melillo, the 33-year-old driver driving the minibus who went off the road on Thursday in Capri, crashing into some cabins of Marina Grande.

This is what emerges from the first autopsy tests which, therefore, would rule out an illness or a pathology.

Other exams

The news was given by lawyer Giovanna Cacciapuoti, lawyer of the victim's family. "In any case - continues the criminal lawyer - we must wait for the outcome of the histological examinations of the heart and brain, and of the toxicological one, to get a clearer picture". The deputy prosecutor of Naples ruled against the request for cremation of the body which, at this point, will not be returned to the family for burial and will remain in custody for other examinations.

The wounded

Meanwhile, the conditions of the 13 wounded hospitalized at the sea hospital in Naples are improving. Two have been discharged, another 10 are under clinical observation. In reserved prognosis, only one patient remains for whom surgery is not excluded.
