A presence that aims to support LGBT + people. "The objective is also to show our more general support for the rule of law which is not at all respected in Hungary", explained the former mayor of Strasbourg. This law has in fact been denounced by the EU's partners and an infringement procedure to try to have it annulled has been launched by the European Commission.

"The European Charter of Fundamental Rights, which guarantees that no one is discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, skin color and sexual orientation, which is a pillar of the EU, is not respected here. This law confuses homosexuality and pedophilia, "continued Fabienne Keller, who criticized the Hungarian Prime Minister for having announced this referendum at the time of the Pegasus scandal.

"It entertains public opinion from the heart of the matter," she said.
