July 24, 2021 There are nineteen landings in Lampedusa that have brought another 314 migrants to the island since midnight.
After the 12 that occurred during the night, in the morning the soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza rescued 25 Tunisians near the Madonnina pier, including 3 minors who had just arrived with a 7-meter boat.
At 12 miles from the coast, a Fiamme Gialle patrol boat hooked up a 6-meter boat carrying 18 Tunisians on board.
Following other 4 landings, with a total of 77 Tunisians.
Three small boats blocked between a mile from the beach of Isola dei Conigli and almost under the coast. These boats appear to have sailed from the ports of Djerba, Sfax and Chebba. Finally, a small boat of 5 meters - the nineteenth of the day - was docked in the waters in front of Lampedusa by the Vitali ship of the Guardia di Finanza.
In the hotspot, after the embarkation of 300 migrants on the quarantine ship Azzurra, 1,135 will remain, against a maximum capacity of 250 guests.
