23 July 2021The interrogation under guarantee of Massimo Adriatici, the councilor for security of Voghera accused of culpable excess of legitimate defense in relation to the death of Youns Bousseataoui, began in the Palazzo di Giustizia of Pavia. The interrogation takes place in front of the investigating judge Maria Cristina Lapi. "I didn't want to shoot, the shot went off falling", told the prosecutor Roberto Valli - who asked to validate the house arrest - and the carabinieri who initially arrested him for voluntary murder. If it really went like this, a ballistics report could be clarified that the magistrate will dispose of as soon as possible.

While awaiting the results of the autopsy on Youns Bousseataoui and the scientific findings, in the meantime, the videos of the cameras placed in Piazza Meardi are being analyzed to reconstruct what happened on Tuesday evening when Massimo Adriatici, the municipal councilor for security at Lega altitude, fired with his caliber 22 to the 39 year old. Already yesterday a video emerged taken from the security systems showing the victim punching the councilor Adriatici who falls to the ground. The camera, however, does not frame the moment of the shot which therefore still remains a circumstance shrouded in mystery.

Three witnesses, two of whom can be seen in the video, would support the investigators' thesis. Their depositions are defined in the Prosecutor's Office as "consistent". For the investigators, it was not really a legitimate defense, but something that closely resembles it: a 'culpable excess' of legitimate defense, that is, the suspect would have miscalculated a danger that was not so serious because of "imprudence or inexperience ". Certainly Adriatici was 'keeping an eye on' that man because a few hours earlier at the Cervino bar, not far from the 'Ligure', the manager had told him that the previous evening El Boussetaoui had annoyed some customers.

The family lawyer, Debora Piazza, who had assisted El Boussetaoui in his previous trials for drug dealing and resistance, protests because the relatives were not informed of the autopsy and could not participate with their consultant. he knew that there was a sister in France, a brother in Switzerland and a father in Novara to whom he could notify the information. Finally, it is not clear when the expulsion measures against the homeless date back. The Prosecutor is not aware of it, the carabinieri "speak of at least 3" passing papers from 2012 onwards, but they do not know how to specify the dates, while the family's lawyer does not appear.

Younes's sister continues to ask for justice: "An innocent man was killed. Adriatici shot him with the intention of killing him, hit him in the heart. Was he sick? Up to two months he wasn't sick, yes he liked to live in the open, in a house he was suffocating. But he was psychically ill only recently, I don't know what happened. " And then he announces that on Saturday afternoon there will be a demonstration with relatives and friends in front of the place of the killing to remember his brother.
