She stated this during a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the government to combat coronavirus infection.

“As for the epidemiological situation on COVID-19 on the peninsula: it has remained tense for four weeks now, the holiday season is underway.

There are some tendencies towards stabilization: out of 27 municipalities in Crimea, in three we are already seeing a decline, including Alushta, in 12 - stabilization, ”Popova said.

Nevertheless, on the territory of another 12 municipalities of the peninsula, an increase in infection is still persisting, including in such resort areas as Yalta, Feodosia, Sudak and Sevastopol.

Popova recalled that 215 vaccination points have been deployed on the territory of Crimea.

Earlier it was reported that about 35 million people received the first component of the domestic vaccine against coronavirus in Russia.
