At 16.37 on Friday afternoon, SOS was alerted of a drowning at Kyvik's bathing area in Kungsbacka municipality.
Ambulance, rescue services and police were called to the scene.
When blue light personnel arrived at the bathing area, the person was up on land with unclear damage.
The person has now been taken by ambulance to Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg.
