The Blodelsheim gendarmerie in the Haut-Rhin is trying to understand what may have happened on Thursday to a teenager who was riding a motorcycle and who died in a road accident.

The facts occurred shortly before noon in Fessenheim in the Haut-Rhin, more precisely at the traffic light of the Rhine bridge, on the French side.

The young man was riding a small 50 cm3 motorcycle, white with blue inscriptions specify on their Facebook page the gendarmes.

The emergency services found the seriously injured young man near his motorcycle, on the side of the road, below the traffic lane.

The victim could have left the road just before the traffic light.

Quickly rescued, he was helicoptered in serious condition to the Freiburg im Breisgau hospital where he finally died.

The Blodelsheim gendarmerie, which intervened on the scene, is looking for any testimony that could provide details on this accident.
