A fatal accident took place in the middle of the day in Castres in the Tarn.
While traveling on the road to Brassac, north of the town, a heavy goods vehicle and a car collided in a "violent collision" according to the Tarn Fire and Rescue Service.
In the shock, the truck carrying the gravel lay down on the automobile, completely crushed.
Its two occupants are deceased.
This is also the case for the driver of the heavy vehicle who was imprisoned in his machine.
One hour after the accident which took place around 12:30 p.m., help was still there.
The open investigation will have to determine the exact circumstances of this dramatic traffic accident.
