The investigation determined that Shiyan Dongfeng China Gas Company was directly responsible for the accident, and 11 related personnel including the company's person in charge, Huang Mou, were suspected of committing a crime. The judicial organs have taken criminal compulsory measures.
China Gas Holding Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Shiyan Dongfeng Zhongran Company, China Resources Land (Wuhan) Property Management Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Runlian Properties, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. and its former subsidiary Dongfeng Gas Company were responsible for the accident. The 32 responsible persons of the above-mentioned units shall be held accountable by the relevant competent departments and higher-level units in accordance with laws and regulations.
