• Travel Large funds from the United States convey to Pedro Sánchez their concern about the labor reform

The Second Vice President and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, has indicated, questioned by the meeting of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, with investment funds from the United States, that "her concern" is with workers who have lost their rights or with the unemployed.

"Investment funds are in the world to make money and governments, especially progressives, are there to improve people's lives," Díaz said in statements to the media in El Escorial.

"What worries me are the workers who have lost their rights (...) the unemployed (...) the young people without jobs or the mothers (...) who have difficulties to meet the needs of their children, "added Díaz, who has stressed that United We can be in the Government to change those things" not to improve the profitability of the funds. "

"I suppose they have talked about taxes," added Díaz, who believes that this is "the only interesting thing about a visit to a large investment fund."

"The president has done his job," he concluded.

Sánchez transferred yesterday to the representatives of the main investment funds in the United States that the priority in Spain is economic recovery rather than a tax reform that is being worked on.

Sánchez sent that message to US investors in the meetings he held with them in New York at the beginning of his economic tour that aims to showcase the business opportunities that Spain offers.
