Peskov called it natural for Russia to appeal to the ECHR with a complaint against Ukraine

Peskov noted that "this is absolutely natural treatment, which is provided for by the rules of this international organization."

Earlier it was reported that Russia applied to the European Court of Human Rights with an interstate complaint against Ukraine on the basis of Art.

33 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

It is noted that this is the first interstate complaint in the history of Russia, filed by the Russian authorities in a European court.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Novikov, in an interview with RT, commented on the message that Russia has applied to the ECHR with an interstate complaint against Ukraine.
