Italy extends "health pass" to stem any new wave

In Italy, the figures for Covid-19 contamination are increasing, as are deaths.
This prompted the government to issue a new decree which will take effect on August 6.

More than 5,000 cases and 15 deaths have been recorded in Italy in the past 24 hours. These figures are not catastrophic, they are even much lower than those of other European countries, but they are progressing, inexorably. The government wants to put a stop to the contagion by adopting a new decree. It provides for the extension of the state of emergency until December 31 and the extension of the obligation of the health pass, including in places of catering.
It will be required to access the interior rooms of restaurants and bars.
It will also be required for places of entertainment and culture, swimming pools, gyms, fairs and congresses.

" in the peninsula, can be delivered from the first dose of vaccine, but also to people cured of Covid-19 and to those who have obtained a negative test in the previous 48 hours.

For the transition from a region from white to another color, corresponding to a more or less high risk of contagion, new criteria, based on hospital occupancy rates, will be applied.
Regarding the possible obligation of a health pass for public transport and workers, including teachers, the government will make decisions after consultation with the unions.
