According to foreign media reports, on July 20, local time, Beauvale Zoo in France stated that the Chinese giant panda Huanhuan was pregnant again and will give birth to her second baby soon.
A spokesperson for the zoo said that previous ultrasound examinations confirmed the existence of panda embryos.
The baby panda may be born in late July or early August.
"Huanhuan" and "Yuanzai" came to Beauval Zoo in France from China in January 2012 to start a 10-year Sino-French giant panda breeding cooperation plan.
On August 4, 2017, "Huan Huan", who was pregnant by artificial insemination, gave birth to a male cub, "Yuan Meng". This is also the first giant panda born in France.
