If you are going to travel, it may be a good idea to obtain a covid certificate, as a certificate of vaccination is required when traveling to most countries.

The information about what applies when traveling to different countries can be updated regularly, to find out the latest update before the trip, you can visit the embassies' travel information.

Denmark

Denmark categorizes countries in different colors based on the state of infection and the color determines which requirements apply when entering the country.

Sweden is classified as green, which means that there is no requirement for covid test or quarantine on arrival.

Norway

Sweden is also classified as green in Norway and this means that as a traveler you avoid entry quarantine.

Exceptions apply to travelers traveling from Värmland or Norrbotten, where the entry quarantine is valid for ten days.

Anyone who has been fully vaccinated or has had covid-19 for the past six months, however, has an exemption from the entry quarantine. 

Finland

People who have been vaccinated have been allowed to travel to

Finland

since 21 June, 14 days after the last dose.

This also applies to persons who, through a medical certificate, can show that they have had covid-19 during the past six months.





Germany


Sweden is no longer classified as a risk area.

The general requirement for a negative test, alternative proof of vaccination or recovery, quarantine and digital registration for traveling from Sweden to Germany has been abolished.

However, the requirements for a certificate of vaccination or recovery continue to apply to all flights to the country for persons over six years of age. 

France


Fully vaccinated travelers from Sweden can enter the country without the requirement for a test.

If you have not been vaccinated, anyone over the age of 11 must show a negative covid test that is at most 72 hours old.

There is no requirement for those traveling from Sweden to be quarantined or tested on arrival.

Spain 


Travelers flying to Spain must complete a health declaration no earlier than 48 hours before arrival.

When the declaration is completed, a QR code must be presented at check-in and arrival in the country. 


In addition, travelers over the age of 12 traveling from upper Norrland must present a certificate as proof of vaccination, a negative test result that is a maximum of 48 hours old or a certificate that they have undergone a covid infection.  

Italy 


Anyone traveling to Italy must complete a "EU Digital Passanger Locator Form" digital form.

From 1 July, a valid covid certificate is required upon entry from Sweden, among other places, or a negative PCR test that is a maximum of 48 hours old.

Children under the age of six are exempt from the requirement.  

Greece


According to the Swedish embassy, ​​the situation in the country may change at short notice.

PLF forms are required for all travelers to Greece.

But it also requires a negative PCR test that is a maximum of 48 hours old, alternatively the EU's digital covid certificate for vaccination or a certificate of recovery from covid infection. 

Croatia 


Entry rules are subject to change at short notice.

Travelers can enter the country with the EU's digital covid certificate.

If it is missing, those traveling into the country can show a negative PCR test that is a maximum of 72 hours old.

A certificate of negative antigen test that is not older than 48 hours is also an option.

If there is no certificate, it is possible to test yourself against payment upon entry with mandatory isolation until you have received a negative test result.

Turkey The


Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to advise against unnecessary travel to Turkey. Upon entry, you must fill in an entry form in advance, which can be found on the Turkish Ministry of Health's website. Travelers must also present one of the following: negative PCR test not older than 72 hours, negative antigen test not older than 48 hours, official vaccination certificate, or certificate showing covid infection in the past six months.
