- If we had planned long-term, we would not have been here.

You have to act in the short term because the world is changing, says Erik Ohlsson, the festival founder.

The plan was to let in 500 people per festival day.

But after new easing of restrictions, they now expect to take in twice as many guests per day.

A catwalk right through the crowd

All guests will have a seat and there will be a aisle through the audience.

A catwalk where artists and conferences can walk around and get closer to the audience.

The entire festival will be broadcast digitally and large screens will be placed here and there.

- The biggest challenge is to maintain from start to finish, says Annie Mellström, festival general.

The Hudikkalaset takes place from 26 to 31 July and at the place where the festival was born - the Köpmanberget folk park in Hudiksvall.
