In Myanmar, where the turmoil continues after the coup d'etat, the infection of the new coronavirus has spread rapidly, and the shortage of medical oxygen is becoming more serious.

For this reason, the Japanese government has decided to send oxygen concentrators to medical institutions in Myanmar.

In Myanmar, the infection of the new coronavirus has spread rapidly since last month, and the number of deaths has reached a record high every day, which is a serious situation.

As the post-coup turmoil continues in Myanmar and the shortage of medical oxygen is becoming more serious, the Japanese government has decided to send up to 700 oxygen concentrators to local medical institutions.

The government plans to provide about 100 million yen free of charge and procure an oxygen concentrator through a UN agency, and hopes to deliver it to the site as soon as possible.

In addition, the government plans to send 14 ambulances to local medical institutions that treat the new coronavirus, and will continue to consider necessary support.
