In the summer of 1950, according to the decision of the Central Military Commission, the Chinese People's Liberation Army marched into Tibet from four routes.

Wang Zhen, then commander of the Xinjiang Military Region, approved the 1st Company of the 1st Regiment of the Independent Cavalry Division as the advance company to enter Tibet, and Li Disan was the commander-in-chief.

After six months of marching, the advance company became the first unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army to enter Tibet.

Plu Village is deep in the desert and roads are blocked. Before the People's Liberation Army entered the village, many people in the village had never seen outsiders.

Nowadays, there are various shops on both sides of a short village road, and all the electrical facilities in the houses of the villagers' detached houses are all available.

Siripu said that the world of life began when the villagers were allocated land and livestock. The roads that began to be repaired more than 10 years ago gave this ancient village in the Gobi a whole new look.

"The whole village has been lifted out of poverty. The children have all gone to school and can go to the county town to play every week. These were unimaginable in the past."

Visiting the honor room of the company of heroes is the first lesson for recruits, and joining the company has also become their goal.

"Only when the political quality, military skills and other assessment indicators are in the forefront of the army can you join the company." Company commander Qi Nan told reporters that the heroic story of the advance company inspires every soldier to train and work. Practice is the best way to pass on the spirit of the ancestors.
